Hi Carl - I love birds, and would be thrilled to feed birds, but it would be cruel, given that we have Frick and Frack, the Orange Tiger Boys, who hunt as a tag team, and their mama, Mystery, the Mighty Huntress, who hunts alone.

When it is warm outside they leave daily offerings of dead creatures, including shrews, moles, voles, mice, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, snakes, and songbirds, and even the occasional crow (not a rat, yet, blessings be.)

A birdfeeder would be like setting up a Kitty McDonald's Express Lane.

I planted a butterfly bed this year and was much chagrinned to see Frick and Frack running past me with butterflies in their jaws! :(
