Not yet, I don't think there actually is a really resistant strain of honeybees, but they are working on developing a resistant strain.

Maybe the wild bees will develop a resistant strain. Hard to see how when you see how horribly huge the mites are in comparison to the bees. It's like developing resistance to something half the diameter of your trachea (for the tracheal mites) or as big as your hand (for the varroa mites).
