>>Would you disagree that settlers from Europe (who later became "Americans") took Indians' land by force?<<

Some settlers got land from Native Americans via peaceful treaty, some via marriage contract, some purchased their land (ever hear the tale that the Dutch bought Manhattan for $24 and some beads?) One of my ancestors, a French Canadian, married into a Chippewa tribe, and they became homesteaders.

Some Native American tribes died out due to smallpox and left their land vacant.

Some Native American tribes retained control of their land, in various ways (e.g., getting a deed and starting a farm, just like settlers). The Navaho still live on their own land.

Some Native Americans were able to open up new habitats due to technological advances adopted from the Europeans (horses and rifles allowed the Plains Indians to exploit the buffalo, a previously unexploited niche).

But most Europeans don't know any more about Native Americans than they saw on TV or in a movie.

Some Native Americans practice victimology (not dissimilar to Palestinian victimology) but most of the successful ones don't.

"I wonder why you "rally" for the Jewish cause?"
Because it is part of our Western Civilization

I mean, if it is wrong to take land by force and if land taken by force needs to be given back to their first known settlers, than this should be the case for every culture who ever got kicked out of a territory, right?

So that means France and Spain should be returned to the Basques? I mean, the Basques predate everybody, the Celts, the Romans, the Franks, the Burgundians, the Huns, the Visigoths, the Vandals, the Moors...everybody.
