Just because most of us don't understand the geopolitical reasons for a war, doesn't mean they don't exist. We were talking about the costs of war...you said the last one cost us 140 soldiers..clearly understating the cost of a war. I was trying to make you see the real cost. I think I got my point across. War is a tool of last resort. Bush has won in Iraq. We don't need this war. Now it's political. If he backs down, he will lose face. If he doesn't, a lot of lives will be destroyed. Let's see what he does. Why don't you give me links, showing why SA would be a better place to start our counterattack on terrorism than Iraq. Because I don't believe that an attack in either place is justified. Again..you keep losing track of the argument. Bullsh$$. I have always argued that the main reason for the war on Iraq; was the central role both Iraq and Saddam play Back the other way again. You shame me into a discussion the basis of which is that the war on Iraq has a humanitarian side and then you show yourself for the cold calculated hawk you really are. If you don't care about the Iraqi people, then don't bring it up and then we'll have a more honest discussion. That is the whole point. Nato only did so when they started to get nervous the killing , This is total nonsense. The US did not/does not need Kosovo to exhert influence in Europe. Nato saw a chance to stop Milosevic and took it when the Serbs lost momentum after the settlement in Bosnia. There are no other bennies from this war. Bull, Iraq has attacked us, as Iraq was involved in the 93 bombing of the WTC. LOL...on the same quality of evidence we have to justify our attack this time.
