Its similar to taking my word for the fact that aliens are not invading my home town as I type this.

If millions of people have been killed by Americans in Afghanistan then there would be links and articles all over the place that would have that information. However when millions of people are not killed few people care to point that out or aggressively promote the idea. There won't be many links about things when they do NOT happen.
