The boy scouts are a private organization. They should be able to discriminate as much as they want, as long as they don't get public money, or use public facilities (our laws forbidding government discrimination on the basis of sex, race, sexual orientation, etc...).

You, as an individual can discriminate as much as you want, against whomever you want, as long as you are willing to take the societal consequences of your actions, of course.

I'm not sure what you mean by this "You are quite literally heterosexual, even if you should behave contrary to your fundamental nature. Heterosexuality is you, and it exists in every cell of your being. This is true of every single human who has ever existed and who will ever exist, despite cloning or any other technology that should come to pass. So then, unlike with homosexuality, heterosexuality cannot be a naturally legitimate exclusive criterion for discrimination, else, those doing the discriminating would by nature have to discriminate against themselves."

Since homosexuality is primarily determined by behavior, and the orientation of sexual fantasies, if you have such fantasies, or act upon such fantasies, you are, in fact, homosexual. Heterosexuality and homosexuality are ways we label behavior, specifically sexual behavior. The genesis of that behavior may exists in every cell of our body, but if it does, it probably exists for both types of behaviors.

<<People who commit homosexual acts have rights as a result of their being human, not homosexual. >>

The town I live close to has gone on a diversity kick, the last being homosexual rights. I got to thinking about a lot of the Old Testament stuff, no pork, shellfish, homos.

Now what was written then made a lot of sense. People crapped where they got shellfish, pork had a parasite and if the population didn't expand one plague could wipe the whole of mankind out. Just rambling. I do eat shellfish and pork and that's as far as it goes.
