Take away the energy crisis and Davis would be strong now. Maybe, but the problem is there WAS the energy crisis, and the tech bust and these guys are supposed to be able to navigate through storms like this. On another thread I said that we all KNEW in 2001 that the tech bubble was burst and there was all this construction going down, still. It was obvious that what was needed was a slam on the brakes, THEN. But Davis "looked the other way" because it was an election year, imo. This is not leadership.
