$100 billion over a decade is peanuts, $10bn a year. If the protracted occupation costs are much higher, they simply won't be incurred in the absence of other sources, i.e., Iraqi oil and/or Saudi and/or Kuwaiti financing.

But Win, you forget that we get to run about the streets, yelling with delight, and egg the Government on to spend hundreds of Millions in the slaughter!
