Did you use a lawyer? I'm looking to apply soon but am hearing different stories from different people, even those applying under the same program as me (EB-1) and am a bit confused by it.

Same with my wife. Got her fingerprints in August 2001 for an updated card. Took finger prints again (no reason given) after inquiring what was going on 6 months later. Inquired again and got letter asking for verification of information by sending orignal copies of fingerprint info.

The "Vermont number" is always busy.

...Still waiting...according to last letter (2 weeks ago) this was the final step.

Her US Citizen apps were filled out in the early summer and she already has an interview this March.

Unbelievable that illegals have an easier time.
