Nice theory about the proto chicken:-) by now we are certain that the Rooster managed to kill the Proto Rooster so today we have the Roosters gene dominance in the chickens empire.

Civilizations do tend to impose its culture on others or destroy the other: agreed, with a few exeptions, like the Romans dominated the Greek but were Helenized

I disagree with you on the relation between Venezuela and the ME. in my view in the ME the main problem is Civilization or Culture and I do hope that in the next 900 years they will evolucionate like we did. On the other hand I agree with you that in the ME it is also a problem of power , the power to world dominance and conversion to their Civilization and religion or destroy our civilization.

On the Venezuelan side it is not a question of Civilization or power , unless you talk about the power of an individual person , then you are right, and the oil he needs it in order to strengthen and maintain this power.

As far as changing the structure and the culture of feudal religious systems, one must remember that it took 900 years or so to change the European system from a feudal to a democratic system(1100-1900).

Hmm... Japan has accomplished that in far less time, in part because the US came in an imposed a democratic form of government.

There is a theory that feudal societies often require an authoritarian government in order to create social order and economic progress. Of course, there comes a point at which that government must be neutralized and democracy induced/compelled, either internally, or externally..
