As opposed to the character of this post, whereby, Andrew Sullivan is trying to poison the character of Wim Duisenberg by bringing into the picture the personal views of his wife? Talk about cheap shots. I suppose all husbands and wives think alike.

Since Wim Duisenberg has used her husband's position to get herself a diplomatic passport, and insert herself into situations unavailable to private citizens (like the recent kissy-face with Arafat in Ramallah) for photo-op pronouncements, I should think she is more than fair game for criticism as a public person, especially when she says things like "the Israeli occupation is worse than the Nazi occupation of Holland"

I think Greta tends to play a "Hillary" type role in the Duisenberg Family. I didn't take Sullivan's column as a "Cheap Shot" at the Husband. Read like another example of a prominent Anti-Semite among the Euro-Elite.
