Since you are talking about "fair" criticism, I submit any topic relating to how American tax dollars are being channeled into foreign aid is fair game, and especially, if that money is diverted into the subsidized care of settlements in the occupied territory which serve little or no military significance to Israel's defense.

You are setting subjective standards, thus, imposing your own personal belief values on what is appropriate and what is inappropriate.

Maybe Mrs. Duisenberg is telling the truth by her lights. People who were willing to collaborate with the Nazis did not have a hard time during the Occupation. This would not be a reflection on Mrs. Duisenberg (BTW, her name is Greta, it's her husband who's Wim), who could not have been very old during the Occupation (her husband was born in 1935).
