John

I feel they should have gotten life and a day.. Never to get out of prison Unless the system can get them out if found innocent.. This guy shouldn't be able to let them walk, shouldn't he be able to suspend the conviction to life in prison?..I was always on the line about the death chamber.. Figure even if one innocent person is put to death it is not worth it... Plus also thought life without parole was worse..

I feel the same about the blanket clemencies as I've felt about every other thing Ryan has done while in office. He's a disgrace to humanity. First thing he did after taking office was to double the fees on vehicle registration and promised the money would go to bridge repair. It was spent promoting homosexual activities in Chicago.

What he should have done was reviewed the capital cases from Cook County where the abuse of the system took place. This blanket clemency is just to blow some smoke and try to get his impending arrest off the front page.
