To disengage the way he suggests here, can have dramatic effects on us all. I agree. I am still mulling over the idea of pulling the troops out. If they were not there, we could really just turn this over to South Korea and Japan. Another advantage is it would be easier to deal with China. When you go through the alternatives, any permanent solution there has to include getting us out. I think my, and most peoples, instinctive rejection to it is the idea of pulling them out when we are "Under the Gun."
