Ted Re..You've got it wrong.......I strongly support our military but I don't support the wars the rich choose to embroil us in for their gain.

Sure you do. As long as the military is tied down to a chair with duct tape over its mouth, and does your bidding, the way you feel it should. What is the difference between your definition of how the military should proceed, and how we allowed the military to proceed in Nam?

Huh? Who do you think you're talking to? I have not said one word about how the military should conduct itself once it gets to Iraq.

We shouldn't get in unnecessary wars, but when we are in one, we should allow the military fight it as it sees fit. We are in a war now, quit trying to tie the military's hands behind its back. If it takes defeating Iraq to fight effectively in the middle east, then we should do it

Excuse me.....can you conservatives make up your minds.

One minute you're condemning liberals for having us in a war when not a single shot has been fired, and the next, you're complaining that somehow we're hamstringing the military operation in Iraq that apparently you think is a reality as I type this post.

Once again......I think its a shame that these men and women are sent to fight a war that the rich and powerful think is necessary but would never send their own kids to fight. The hypocrisy smells up this thread.

Every bushite who commits this nation to war should be required to send at least one relative to help with the fighting. That would bring an end to war real fast.
