you don't have any basis in fact to say that no life has been sacrificed. The fact that states won't open cases where people have been executed doesn't allow you or anybody to reasonably examine the facts.

There are situations that I would sacrifice my life to save others. However, if I was found guilty of murder and I was innocent of the crime, I absolutely wouldn't march off to death row like a lamb to slaughter. I'd fight like a motherfucker. I don't give a rat's ass how many people it would save by having an unhindered death penalty.

I admire your conviction to this issue though, if it were you that was convicted and sentenced to death even though you were innocent, I am sure that you would say..."screw the appeals, think of all the people I am saving by encouraging an unfettered death penalty".
