Even if Bill could read those facts, he wouldn't be able to understand them. Even beyond his shallow intellect, he's determined not to understand.

The death penalty is no deterrent whatsoever.

Anyway, if a murder is averted in a hostage situation because the police negotiator convinced the perp to surrender using a DP threat, would you consider that to be deterrence?

BTW, in the past I've shown you the precipitous drop in murder rate after NY re-adopted the DP. The stats you just posted are not relevant to the issue of deterrence, IMO.
