What a stupid spin. I read this poll to say 83% of the country agrees with how the administration is proceeding:

A robust majority of Americans - 83 percent - would support going to war if the United Nations backed the action and it was carried out by a multinational coalition.

Who was it claiming Knight-Ridder wasn't liberal?<ggg>

In spite of the media, anyone who thinks about it realizes it's phony to require Iraq to prove a negative, i.e., "prove you don't have any weapons, or we'll kill you". That's absurd even to a schoolchild.

It's clear to everyone that the people who will be killed in Iraq are those who are already the victims of brutal treatment, probably hundreds of thousands will be killed.

Without proof of the danger to Americans, no one will believe what we're told in school, that "The US doesn't start wars, it ends them".
