Z; Before you make the big jump to quantum physics, you should read a little basic science. You seem to be saying that water is uncaused. Are you really going to stand by that? You can't take calculus, before you understand 2+2. Do you understand cause and effect Z? It appears you do not. If something has a beginning then it has a cause. The cause does not have to be personal as in the cause of Hawking's book being Hawking himself. It could also be natural as in the case of water molecules. However the cause can't be natural if there is no nature in the first place. You continue to start with pre-existent material to explain the existence of material. Go look up circular reasoning Z you will find it under arguments that Z makes. The question being asked is; where did this pre-existent material come from? The answer can only be one of (count them now)two alternatives. Either it is uncaused, uncreated and self existent, or it had a cause and a beginning. You have been arguing for option #2 without apparently realizing it, and at the same time accusing me of false dilemma without providing any alternatives. The universe is caused or it isn't. The original quantum singularity can't have been the result of non-existent forces. What caused this original quantum particle to begin to exist? Answer that and then tell me what acted on this single particle to "cause" it to explode? Keep in mind this happened before there were any black holes, before there was a vacuum to "borrow from", back when there was nothing, nada, zip, zero, ZILCH? Greg
