I think your right about diminished bears on si...i have a feeling that many bears underestimated this bear rally and didn't allocate or hedge sufficiently...But as in the case of bear markets few get out with their skin...longs or shorts.

i think it depends greatly on the earnings guidance after we get this quarter's reports....

the market has already priced in continued growth...fourth quarter was estimated by first call at 11.1% (that would be the 3rd quarter in a row of earnings *increase*)the estimate for the first quarter is 11.2%...but if the guidance is weak, we'll start hearing talk again of the double dip.
