I understand full well what a CC is, but you said bearish.
CC is bullish to neutral.
Perhaps I missed the sarcasm.

CC is identical in risk to shorting puts.
Shorting puts on tech after the bounce we had is hardly conservative.

so the CC profits are taxed now & hopefully there's something to offset the securities loss later(until the next tech boom<G>) ... excluding 401 accounts.
