Bush's tax plan was a bunch of crock from the start. It was clearly designed the benefit the rich. Median income in the US is about 35k a year and statistically those earning 35k or less hold only 10% of stocks. The other 90% is held by those with income over 35K and it gets more skewed as you go up the wealth ladder. That means almost all the rich folks benefit in a huge way and those making less the 35k get squat because they don't own much stock or not at all.

By the way, after the stock split, gates will own 1.24 billion shares. Does the dividend apply to the split price or the current price?
