once in a while I get REAL "sure" of my market calls, JT. When that happens I step back and ask what could go wrong and where I would cut the trade, if it doesn't pan out the way I think ...

I have just such a plan in place now should I be wrong about where we are going -- what gets cut first. Something to consider ...

Boy, the bears are so thick you can't see 10 ft in front of you. The contrarian in me has to be encouraged when mainstream articles like THIS one are being strung about-
biz.yahoo.com

Let's see, they declared:

1)"Bush's economic plan a dud", in the title line.
2) "investing is a lot like playing at the craps table"
3)"individual investors are becoming more sour, disillusioned and discontent with the market and will continue to exit stocks"

and finally, the biggie, BUY and HOLD is DEAD-
4)"The buy-and-hold for the longer term strategy has been discredited and probably will not work in the type of choppy market I expect over the foreseeable future,"

I'll be looking for another bout of selling on Tuesday after all the bad press this weekend- and I'll probably buy it for a trade.
