IMO, you could easily cut at least 20% from the defense department budget without trying hard (IMO, the target should be to take it down below $200 Billion -- it needs to be right-sized like a lot of big inefficient companies)...How many weapons systems did Bush and Rumsfeld actually cut...? Tough decisions need to be made in these new economic times...Don't equate spending to security.....Star Wars spending is insanity and all that should be re-directed towards homeland security efforts (where I think The President has NOT done enough).
