Look at GoldCorp, GG. No debt, unhedged, lowest cost of production, 196,000oz of gold horde

BC- I'll try to find an answer this weekend (and, also, to your previous financing question), but just heard advertised on Dallas radio, "$7,000 back- in your hand, right at purchase, to use anyway you want- if you buy a new 'blah-blah-blah' mid-priced SUV...

Its getting Cuh-RAZY out there ng

My favorite NA miners are GLG, MDG and GG. All unhedged, all producing nicely. GG is less leveraged to the POG than the others because of very low cost of production, but they are trying to re-lever by holding physical gold rather than cash. The best SA's are HMY, GFI and DROOPY. If I had to own ONE and only one miner, it would be HMY because I feel they have the best combination of current profitability, reserves and leverage to the POG.

DISCLOSURE: LONG GLG, HMY, DROOY (as well as BGO, WHT and CEF).

some places let you buy the physical on margin -- don't know why you wouldn't just wanna buy futures instead, though.

bobcor, two months ago Heinz still believed that SoAf miners were still the best. IMO betting on just one single miner is too much risk.
Please let us know what your pick was.

BC as far as South African miners go...RANGY and GOLD have made big moves DESPITE the increase in the Rand.

ASA is a closed-end fund comprised of SA miners.

Closer to home I like IAG, GLG and RGLD.
