Please, they aren't -- I'm sincere when I say you are generous in your "unvarnished" establishment opinions, unlike the packaged calculated propaganda in the general environment. These are valuable data points. That takes something that eludes others who espouse the same conclusions - Ari Fleisher would never freely post messages and thoughts, and is therefore useless in looking at threads of thought. They cannot afford to be stuck with "unanswered questions" in their house of cards. I sincerely try to take your occasional implied insults as accidental, and in any case insignificant compared to the important mosaic of how followers of the current authorities in Washington proclaim conclusions. It's not a "conspiracy", altho' there are certainly elements of that in any large opinion-generating group -- it's critical to democracy to understand what constitutes representation. The thesis is that representation is non-proportional for those who pay into the gov't, and proportional to those who own assets or otherwise derive income from the machinery of gov't. The upshot is a skein of influence on the media, titular "think tanks", etc. that hides facts, erases history, and so on. "Understanding Power", by Chomsky is an example reference for this skeptical POV, if you want more detail, you'd find it infuriating in places, but no doubt fascinating. Don't worry, he says the Wall Street Journal is one of the best sources of journalism ... -g-
