what we need is for the leading stocks to breakdown though Anindo- I know you know this. VRTS down 4% on an earnings restatement doesn't cut it, we need vrts, nxtl, beas maybe now cree + yhoo, ebay, amzn and friends to get close to their lows and they are nowhere close to that and giving no indication that that is anywhere in the cards.

We had a bull mkt in the early 90s if you were in the new leading techs like psft and orcl meanwhile IBM fell off a cliff. You could have shorted IBM of course at that time and made money or held orcl long. I wouldn't call 94 a bull mkt for sure, it wasn't really a bear either this mkt feels like that. Interesting in that the dollar was falling in the early 90s too but nobody talked about it much then.
