The leaders are usually the last to go. If this is indeed the resumption of the bear they will get the leaders eventually. If the consumer cuts back its going to affect earnings at EBAY, AMZN and YHOO. Watch the retailers like WMT, TGT. They hold the key to consumer spending. But you are right the leaders haven't broken and EBAY is actually up. But people shorting the indexes are making money.
