"I challenge you to go thru every single US carrier that went from an existing analog network and find a single one which has completely dropped their entire old user base and went completely to a CDMA only overlay."

Engineer,

I challenge you to stop interpreting my post as an attack on the viability of a GSM1x overlay.

Someone asked, why would the author think that a carrier would loose out on roaming fees, to which rkral and I offered one explanation as to what the author might be thinking.

We're not agreeing with the author, just trying to decipher his cryptic comments.

Engineer (or any other techies)....I was hoping you might be able to comment on the following PTT analysis. Does the breakdown for the reasons for the delay with CDMA PTT sound about right to you?
