No. Again, you are arguing with emotion and not logic here. Think of what you just said again.

All strong nations of the world typically have been known to further their own selfish needs above other countries, this is a historical fact. In the grand scheme of things, the Americans's transgressions have been relatively mild compared against the greeks, romans, mongols, french, english in the days of conquest and colonization. And in fact, given the prevalence of mass media and values of the entire world today, it would be impossible for the americans to go back and do all those things in the past. Good for all of us.

But when viewed through the eyes of history in its entirety, the Non-proliferation treaty today is the Magna Carta of the past. It is the world's only known tool against global chaos and anarchy. It is not perfect, but the UN security council itself knows deeply that they have to stem this tide and prevent rogue nations from possession of non-conventional weapons. Where they differ from the US is the will and method of performing this task.

And this is easily understood why this is the case. It was not the Eifel Tower or the Brandenburg gate or TianAnMen square or Red Square that was attacked. It was New York City. Is it any wonder that many Americans want to do this so badly knowing how much bloodshed is ahead?

<< ... America's history of support for tyrannical dictators ... >>

Don't blame the third world's failure to groom competent leaders on America. America has to deal with the garbage "leaders" in countries in Africa and the Middle East, etc.

OTOH, you must be a supporter of Israel, then, because Israel is the only country in the Middle East without a tyrannical dictator.

In fact Israel has a democratically elected war hero, who's bravery during the many Arab wars against Israel has denied victory to the hordes of Arabs.
