Attack on GW Bush:

washingtonpost.com

"In June 1993, five months after taking office, Clinton launched two dozen cruise missiles at an intelligence headquarters in Baghdad after the United States said it had uncovered a plot to assassinate Bush during a visit to Kuwait. The Bush policy of proportionate escalation, in which bombs and missiles were used to send warning signals to an adversary who long seemed deaf to such messages, was employed by Clinton, ironically, in a physical defense of his predecessor. "

We didn't wait as you can see, but Clinton choose to use Cruise missles to respond.

re: Iraq and WTC, the evidence has been talked about in the last couple of days by tekboy with respect to WTC attack #1 and Ramzi Yousseff.

Your Item 4: Linkage my friend, linkage. Iraq has ties to terrorists who have links to Al Quida. Many of those groups (Hamas and PFLP) today talked openly about targeting the US if they attack Iraq. You claim no linkage, I claim there is. We dissagree. No problem. On the issue of what do the Israeli / Palestinian conflict and the Indian / Pakestan conflict have to do with the US. Good question, ask the Arab street and you'll find your answer!

>>why did the US wait until now to reciprocate<<

Oh, come on. You've been here for the whole Clinton thing. We don't want to tick FL off.

Briefly, Clinton didn't really care if Saddam tried to blow up Dubya's father, mother, brother, and wife. Why should he care? What's in it for him?
