I don't think so. I'd think if what you write is true that we'd have a considerably stronger endorsement of Bush's action by the UN Security Council. And I'd think it's be easier then for both Turkey and the Saudis to play a stronger role.

Sure, the military may move into Iraq and claim they found something, but I'd guess that the war would utterly destroy Iraq's documentation path and not much could truly be proven.

Question: Do you think we were misled during the Gulf War, what with the reports of the accuracy of Patriot missle defense systems, the accuracy of guided missles, among other things?

If what you're saying is to become believed, then the US will have to give war journalists greater freedom to cover the war, more freedom than they gave in the last war.
