Hi Partytime, I do not intend this to be rude ,but I do not see it like you do. You misunderstand the power basis of war. The U.S doesn't care if the U.N. Security Council has a strong endorsement.Yes, it is nice to discuss as the prestaging occur - but when it is lock and load time - it will only have been politicing. I don't expect much will be destroyed.It will be surgical and lightning quick.In 91 only 18% of bombs and missiles were smart guided. The arsenal has been replentished and tha last proving grounds (Afganistan )confirmed the concept.Smart bombs,UAV's,GPS jam proof Nav Trac will be on all vehicles. It will be a digital war - observed from afar and lethal to + or - 30 feet. B1's won't blanket bomb, they'll be in the air 24/7 dropping singles imploding downtown Bagdag one building at a time.Front door, right window ,second story - defined by GPS coordinates. That is how accurate 500 pound bombs will be delivered from 15 miles out and dropped at 40,000 feet elevation. Hunt them,concentrate them- exterminate them. War journalist will be held at bay.You seem to think there is a sense of fairness about armed conflict. That is Naive. Those in power will control all.Your access to the war will be what is issued and granted. Are you thinking there is a democracy over there? Not now and not then. Democracy will come later after all the tyrants have been swiftly and violently exterminated. Unless at the last moment Saddam seeks exile - he'd best not wait till the weapons are found. At that time the waiting is over and pain will be doled out unmercifully. Losses will be extremely one sided except for the citizens Saddam murders to make up a story. It will be demoralizing and devastating.The home team will throw down their arms as the death from an unseen foe will strike terror ( and rightfully so) into the hearts of the oppressed and conscribed army/ When the men are positioned and the nuclear subs are tucked in close - the inspectors will be told were the end of the rainbow is and that will be Jackpot time. Concurrently the oil fields of Iraq on the Kuwait border will be secured for environmental reasons.Sounds like you'd believe that too? Bob
