Power Line has some protest photos and comments on ANSWER:

Ah, we do disagree, once again. I feel better already.

Standard tactic here. If you disagree with the content of something, impugn the messenger. I gather we now know, just from this piece alone but no doubt it will be followed or even preceded by untold more, that the public opposition to an invasion of Iraq without serious justification is a commie inspired, traitorous, menace to the country. As one Heritage Foundation spokesperson offered today on CNN about the Washington demonstrators: "They are all traitors. Should be tried for treason." Or some such.

Hi Nadine,
My cousin Bob once got a girl pregnant. They decided to break up with the hopes that "it" would go away. Needless to say it didn't.
At the rally yesterday there were the usual suspects--the professional demonstators, the america haters and the Hollywood types BUT the majority of participants were well meaning americans who like Cousin Bob and his girlfriend
have their heads stuck deeply in the sand. Hopefully they will take a closer look at the folks they were following yesterday. There are some good antiwar arguments around without having to get into the sewer with the aforementioned crowd.
Back in the sixties i protested and marched both for civil rights and against the war--it took awhile to recognize that sometimes your supposed friends can be worst than your current enemies. Mike
