a commie inspired, traitorous, menace to the country.

No, they are not this, John. But the leaders are using classic "Front" organizations. If you go back over the last 100 years, all "Mass Movements" of this type are started and run by a small group of people with a common cause that takes in much more than the "One Issue" advocacy of the moment. They use these fronts to gain members and money for their main cause, which is hidden behind the curtain of the issue being pushed.

When you listen to the leaders of this "Anti-War" movement you hear their Socialist message. The "key word" being used is "Big Oil." When this issue subsides these people will go back to "Ecology" or "Anti-Globalism" or whatever is the flavor of the month and name a "front" for that to try to sell their base message.

I gather we now know, just from this piece alone but no doubt it will be followed or even preceded by untold more, that the public opposition to an invasion of Iraq without serious justification is a commie inspired, traitorous, menace to the country

Were today's protests organized by ANSWER, yes or no? The NY Times says yes.

Is ANSWER a Marxist organization? By the words of their own activists, it is. And it's allied with WWP, which is socialist.

Is it a smear to call someone a Communist who calls himself a Marxist? Not exactly.

Do I think that most of today's protesters were Marxists, or knew that the signs they held had been printed by a Marxist organization? No, I think they are mostly too clueless to be that aware.

I thought that you were going to stop this kind of nonsensical, inflammatory posting. Oh, well, some things will never change.

Standard tactic here. If you disagree with the content of something, impugn the messenger

Impugn the messenger? LOL! There must be an infectious wide-ranging case of pot-kettle-itis prevalent in Bergen County for which you were not innoculated. I don't see any commentary on Nadine's part endorsing or lambasting the message.

You may be able to guess at Nadine's thoughts lon the message but until she posts them, or you develop clairvoyance, there is no basis for saying that you disagree with her.

"They are all traitors. Should be tried for treason." Or some such.

No comment. Speaks for itself.
