No, they are not this, John. But the leaders are using classic "Front" organizations.

I thought we were past this kind of political talk in this country. Bill, this is simply a way to say that opposition to the invasion as presently conceived is manipulated by "evil folk" to use the brain damaged language of this administration. Hopefully, that kind of demagoguery won't work this time around.

When you listen to the leaders of this "Anti-War" movement you hear their Socialist message. The "key word" being used is "Big Oil." When this issue subsides these people will go back to "Ecology" or "Anti-Globalism" or whatever is the flavor of the month and name a "front" for that to try to sell their base message.

Ah, so the message is not, don't invade Iraq; it's "socialism." Nope. It's Iraq that's on the table. That's the only thing that will get people out right now.

The article in your favorite newspaper suggests it's Iraq and that the marchers come from a variety of backgrounds, interests, for a variety of purposes but Iraq is the main one.
