"...the Taliban and al Qaeda are so good..."
Perhaps in your quest for truth you might direct us to a source for this statement. Otherwise drop it and move on. M2

WE did not do this, remember?

The place was under US control, remember?

So shall we resurrect the Nazis and give them Europe because of that?

Have I said "Give Afghanistan back to the Taliban"?

You are taking a single incident and trying to smear the entire effort in Afghanistan

I am doing no such thing. If I wanted to smear it, I would start with placing an ex-consultant of Unocal in power...

Do you believe no war crimes were committed by the Taliban and al Qaeda during the shooting in Afghanistan?

I don't know. Do you? What war crimes do you believe they committed?

Do you think the US started this?

I believe the US was provoked, yes.

Do you remember the significance of September 11, 2001?

A horrible terrorist attack took place, yes. What is your point? If you are trying to say that gave a carte blanche whatever the US feels like doing now and in the future, think again, though.

Re: Do you remember the significance of September 11, 2001?

It gave good cover to Unocal to push ahead with its stalled pipeline project across Afghanistan. It also allowed the secret government to push through a series of reprehensible anti-American bills such as the USA PATRIOT Act and the Homeland Reversion-to-Patronage Act.

Plus some really swell distraction from this reality on the boob tube.

Do you think the US started this?

This isn't a matter of opinion, it's cold hard fact. We did start this.
