Russia now with France and Germany on wanting a peaceful resolution. Turkey too!

Iraq neighbours bid to avert war as Bush toughens stance (21/01/2003)

ANKARA (AFP) Turkey called an urgent meeting of six regional countries in a bid to avert a US-led war on Iraq as President George W. Bush warned that the United States was determined to take action against Baghdad.

Russia joined China and France in insisting that a peaceful solution was still within reach and the leader of Turkey's governing party, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, also appealed to "all global decision-makers (to) heed the increasing demands for peace."
