I think the simple question is:

If you were a preferred creditor (such as a bank) or a creditor having a senior claim (such as a bondholder) would you GIVE UP some of what you were able to realize to please another type of interested party (such as common shareholders) when you have no OBLIGATION to do so?

If someone can suggest there is some OBLIGATION to look after the Worldcom common holders, MAYBE SO. But is there such an obligation? I doubt it.

Namaste!

Jim
