Your arguments are totally without merit,
Things had gotten a little pointless with all the "red-herring" comparisons. The big picture in this case is the assumption that blacks are admitted into the University of Michigan in much smaller numbers than expected primarily because of their race. Trying to relate tiny details to other domains has a marginal benefit to understanding and only serves as an avenue to insert poll tested code words into the conversation.

The big picture counter argument that is being danced around is that the black population of Michigan is mostly unqualified or undeserving of attending the University. This position runs counter to the law of the land.

Now if I was a betting man, I would guess the State of Michigan is more than 65% Caucasian.

Can anyone dig up that info?
