You are quite welcome. It was unavoidable, we had to make a good faith effort to deal with the UN. If I am correct, I anticipate there being much more intelligence than is imagined on Iraqi activity, and that should provide the basis for "calling the question".......

I hope Bush has something up his sleeve. The folks on this thread who oppose american action keep calling for evidence of saddams perfidy. Come January 27, it would be a good thing to see Adlai Stevenson back at the UN, shouting at the iraqi ambassador. "Dont wait for the translation Mr.Hussein, just answer the question--Yes or No.

I tried to defend the lack of discovery of wmd with Noel. I am having a hard time believing myself that nothing has been found. I know the inspectors are there to verify destruction of actual weapons but the world doesnt buy this argument--the world has fallen victim to the propagandists of the left and the "big lie". I cant believe reasonable people think saddam just up and destroyed this stuff and didnt take the time to even authenticate it for the UN. What a guy. mike
