Interesting and logical Mike. The logic assumes communists running China are logical as well. I don't give them the benefit of doubt. Logic would have told them to abandon the one child genocide policy long ago. 30 million men, unable to find a wife, will lead to all kinds of social problems. Today, slave-trade is growing huge as these men pay gangsters to abduct North Korean women to serve as their wives. Logic would also dictate they should have moved toward a democracy a long time ago. When a nation is ruled by nothing more then a sophisticated mafia which controls the press, the courts, and much more, it can very rapidly do an about face and turn back toward its past. Tawaiin offers a tempting target for the communists in China. American military power has prevented them from acheiving dominance there. Their leaders know it, and they resent it.
