I was 23 in 1968.

I will never forget '68. I guess, as Robin Williams would say, that is because I was not part of it. Other than the assassinations, what sticks in my mind was the kids getting sent home from High School for long hair, the music, and my brother in law in San Francisco showing up at my house as "Jeff Spicoli." And trying pot because of him. Did not like it as much as booze, unfortunately.

I am a former big Kennedy supporter that now realizes what a difference, for the good, it would have made if Nixon,(who I disliked) had got elected in '60. But we will have to leave that for the "Alternate History" buffs.
