CNBC-actually the guy from the WSJ on at that hour-mentioned qcom having done well about 5:40 AM EST. I'm not clear why this is particularly important one way or the other.

CNBC gave no numbers on percentage growth in revenues or earnings, which of course is one of the strong points of the QCOM financial report. Comparing QCOM and NOK by referring only to the extent to which earnings exceeded estimates does not really give a good picture of what is going on.
