You could try brute force if you're patient. It delivers primes up to 41. But F(41) = 41^2.The "know enough math" bit is that finding a prime number generator- -a formula that generates only prime numbers- -is a famous unsolved and believed unsolvable problem of mathematics. It is believed no such formula exists. But not proven.

So knowing that you can immediately say that that ain't it.

I hadn't noticed that F(-x) = F(x-1) property. You're good!
