I saw that.

Davis thumbed his nose at the bishop and monsignor
Wednesday by issuing a press release in which he praised
himself for making California what he calls "the most
pro-choice state in America."

"He goes to church, and he says his prayers, and that's
good," said Weigand. "But he's been aggressive on this
issue, even boastful.

What will be horrible is not that he thumbs his nose at the bishop, but that he is thumbing his nose at God and Jesus.

To All: I am Catholic, and I dont know any Catholics that are openly at least for abortion. However, I personally, and I suppose many others feel it is a PERSONAL Moral decision and not a GOVERNMENT decision. If I were running the Republican or any other party I would simply REFUSE to talk about it and throw the decision back to the Church and the people. jdn
