I picked it off the bp web site. It is an article back in 1998 I believe... I doubt they are the only international oil companies in Vietnam... Usually , drilling off shore has many partners to share expenses....
I thought the question was there drilling off shore not what companies... perhaps a google search will give you all the companies that are out there...

I still remember and edward r Morrow tape back in the fifties saying there was a lot of oil off Vietnam .. Not know where the place was back then... The tape showed oil companies conducting exploration back then... Perhaps part of the war was over oil?
