Are you saying that, on the facts, you believe Swan should have received 7 years? He was along for the ride, had no previous history, etc. You think 7 years was appropriate? Pickering didn't. I agree with Pickering. I am saying the whole treatment of the sentencing of these guys was inappropriate and raises considerable questions. Pickering's odd behavior adds to the list of questions. And I think Pickering's judgement leaves a lot to be desired......it makes me wonder why the GOP is so gung ho to make him a federal judge. But most importantly, I am amazed that you are so willing to buy into his nomination hook, line and sinker. It seems you refuse to come to a conclusion that runs counter to your party even when there are questionable circumstances. Where are your high standards now? ted
