I cheered myself up
by reading some old emails and messages
from 1998, when we had expected a better
rebound from the Oct 97 sell-off. Asian flu
just kept hanging on and things kept getting
worse for our favorite semis. IDTI looked like
it wasn't going to survive at all, with the
Centaur clone debacle. Even into March 99
pessimism was rampant. Maybe some true believers
saw a brighter future but nobody foresaw a run-up
to over $100. Miracles happen, as long as the
company can survive until the next "recovery."
I'll be patient awhile longer.
