Designed to work seamlessly with the Intel® IXDP2400 advanced development platform, the new IDT development board features the IDT 75K62134 NSE, the industry's first 256Kx36 NSE with an integrated industry-standard Network Processor Forum (NPF) Look-Aside Interface (LA-1). The development board seamlessly attaches to the Intel IXDP2400 advanced development platform, thereby improving system performance and accelerating application software development/debug through full speed 200-MHz hardware execution. Designers also have access to a complete library of product-quality, run-time control plane and dataplane software that includes the initialization, management and searching (IMS) code, diagnostic code and dataplane macros as well as application code complementing the development solution. The new offering will be shown at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2003 in San Jose, Calif., booth #513-10. IDT also announced its new software-based dual-port 512Kx36 SLAM that supports the Intel IXP2400, Intel® IXP2800 and Intel® IXP2850 network processors in the Intel® Internet Exchange Architecture Software Development Kit 3.0 Microengine Development Environment. The new cycle-accurate SLAM is bundled with the IDT simulation software solution that includes BusTracker(TM) and PowerTracker(TM), unique system analysis tools that help evaluate bus efficiency and power consumption, respectively. The IDT SLAM supports robust file-based and flexible third-party interfaces for database initialization and configuration. This simulation environment delivers a new and improved version of the company's user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI), providing intuitive viewing of NSE registers, database contents and associated application data. This software suite enables designers to begin software development early in the design process, and fully evaluate and test multiple packet-processing architectures in a pre-hardware simulation environment. good times, bad times...I cheered myself up today by selling all of my IDTI, LSI, CC and AMAT. Hey, its not like these stocks haven't gone up without me before, but they're not going back down with me. Its amazing to me (that since my first trade in IDTI back in 1996) how volatile this bad baby is!!! This last round I started buying way too early, somewhere around 24, and bought my last at 10.05 and had nothing left when it got to single digits. Unbelieveably, I made a profit, by making my first few buys small lots and getting bigger as it came down and selling a little here and there on big upticks. This has been good, but truly, the final sale is the catharsis. I am released from my bondage. I'm sure to be back in, probably too early, and it will run without me, because I sold too early, or bought too little, but remember, you never go broke selling at a profit!
